The Makita DC18RC is a compact charger that has a built-in cooling fan system that blows cool air into the battery, which keeps the battery cool during the charging process. This helps to extend the overall battery life and accelerate the charging process. Has 3 active charging colours to help identify when the battery is charged, and to what level.

Charges 18v and 14v LXT slide batteries in the following times:

• 3.0Ah - 22 Minutes.
• 4.0Ah - 36 Minutes.
• 5.0Ah - 45 Minutes.
• 6.0Ah - 55 Minutes.
